Ruby is Sherlock Holmes daughter, but he doesn't know she exists. Her mom is a lover of Sherlock when they were in college. Ruby's mom has a husband by the name of Richard who is an asshole. When Ruby was 14 he kidnapped her and kept her in a cell he made specifically for her. She ran off to Lodon and became a consulting spy. This story happens during the end of season one episode two the blind banker.
