This is a sequel to Zigzag Logic, so I would suggest reading that first.
(Y/N), a usually skeptical woman who had a history with an abusive ex, has found herself amidst the power and destruction that was withheld from her knowledge. Being thrown into a prophecy involving a quill she possesses, she knows all but one thing: she needs to forget everything she thought she knew before.
Bill, a dream demon who had caused destruction and nearly took the lives of two twelve-year-old humans, is in a constantly conflicted state. Only days before he had thrown away every ambition he had for his second coming of an apocalypse... all for a human girl. That turned out as a hideous mistake as his old friends found themselves doubting him and following a particularly manipulative human into the world he previously regarded as a pebble.
