Working with dogs is no easy task. All the time people tell me how easy my job must be. "Oh, you're a groomer? It must be so much fun to play with puppies all day!" No, no it's not. They don't want to be there, they don't want their nails filed and teeth brushed. I love my job, don't get me wrong, but I'd like to walk you through the days of a groomer. Maybe next time your furbaby gets turned away for a health problem or get sent home unfinished you'll be a little more understanding.
