You tread through the thick snow and put your hands up to your mouth. You now deeply regret not wearing more layers, seeing as you only had a coat and scarf as extra warmth.
Shivering, you sit down on a log. This forest had turned out to be much bigger than you had originally thought. You only wanted to go out for a bit, yet somehow ended up lost. There was no way you would be able to find your way back to the house now. Well, you say house but it's only a small log cabin that had been abandoned long ago, and you had taken up residence in.
Still, it was home. It was all you had. But now you went and lost it.
Suddenly, like a cool breeze, you see a figure walking out in the snow. They are coming towards you at an alarmingly fast rate. You aren't sure if they see you or not, but hide behind the log anyway.
Your adventure is about to begin.
