The Girl of the Sky: A Short Story

Ether is a girl of the sky who possesses the ancient Element of Aether, and she can manipulate in any way she pleases. From opening and closing portals to distant worlds and controlling a powerful conflagration, to owning a magnificent set of wings and throwing stars from the sky, Ether's Elemental abilities are inestimably powerful. However, she is internally and externally damaged, thanks to her former love, Erebos, who left her to die. For millennia, Ether has been traversing across the universe in Erebos' wake of destruction, and now she finally has been able to keep track of him. Though she know his demise will come, she must battle to weaken him until she can make the final blow. In a twist of a cosmic love and the fury of two Elementals, only destiny and the balance of the powers of Aether and Nether can determine the winner of an eternal battle.

This short story presents only one of the numerous battles that Ether and Erebos have fought. All of the artwork is original and done by me, but expect a few of these short stories leading up to the novel that will eventually be released about these two forces of good and evil.
