Lucilia Rose, or Lucy, is the crown heir to the throne of the Flora kingdom, the most fertile kingdom on the continent of Azalea. Lucy doesn't want to be Queen, nor does she want any part of the petty, judgemental court she was born into. She just wants to be normal, but she is far, far from that.
Dylan Stoneheart-Magnolia is the Bastard son of Lord Johnothan Magnolia. After his mothers death when he was 8 years old, Dylan was thrown into the Royal Court. So he could be raised by his father and his step-mother, Lady Karen Magnolia, to be his fathers heir. All Dylan ever wanted to do was go to school to be an astronomer, but he knew that wasn't going to happen.
During the night of the Summer Solstice Ball, they meet, but neither realize that fate and destiny will change their lives forever.
