Lance lives in world full of power. Even those without power are trained fight, and become knights. Unfortunately for her she has been gifted ability she never wanted.

Telekinesis, the ability to move anything with ones mind. Once there were plenty with this ability. They were abundant. We relied on them; but of course, where there is good, there is bad. A war was waged and lives were lost. Today telekinesis is no more, or so it seemed.

Lance lives in fear of her self everyday. She can't tell anyone about her abilities, so she hid them, and trained to become a knight. She works hard, trains hard, and fights hard. It wasn't surprising for anyone when she got a letter announcing that she would be attending Houghmens school for the gifted. If only any of her training before freshman year had trained her for high school.

WATTYS WINNER When her fiancé ends up in a coma and his secret mistress, Halley, shows up, Mary feels like her world is falling apart. What she doesn't realize is she's actually falling in love...with Halley. ***** Eight years after a traumatizing accident that killed one of her loved ones, Mary Kincaid is about to marry her childhood sweetheart when the universe yanks the rug out from under her yet again, leaving her fiancé badly injured and in a coma. Of course this is when his secret mistress shows up, a beautiful person whom Mary should by all rights hate - so why does she find herself inviting her to stay in the spare bedroom? She soon learns that sometimes the person you're looking for comes when you're not looking at all.
