Everything around her seems to go crashing down after her 17th birthday and a month later, she's shifting to a new town, away from everything she's ever known, to a new life, new friends new high school and a motive.
What she doesn't know is that she has been manipulated in a certain way to move to that town as some people wanted her over there.
Her world no longer seems the same and everything that she though were only fictional now seems way too real to be fiction especially after she meets the intriguing Zelix Avaldon and his way too charming elder brother Arson
Everyone seems to be hiding secrets and more or less she's somehow connected though she just arrived.

The Masquerade
Every year for the past hundred years, there has been a masquerade ball that was held where all wolves found their mates, in particular, Alpha Landon, a twenty-three year old that is the Alpha of the Blood Moon pack. He is feared by many and admired by most. His family are the richest and high in the council. Both of his parents met when they were younger here at this ball and then after he turned sixteen, he had hoped he'd find his mate but never did. Life was so simple. So much more carefree and just generally free to do as you please and not have to worry about every little thing. Key word being 'was'. The second you receive your wolf you know your in trouble. It's when the rolling hills and valleys turn into mountains and canyons taunting you to enter.
