Princesses & Detectives~ (A Death Note Fanfic)

Well, I wrote this when I still was in the Death Note fandom and I was 12 years of age back then. For a high school assignment, we had to pick a fairy tale and transform it into a different version. I mixed the classic tale of Cinderella with Death Note, and I got an A+ for it, so I hope U enjoy it.

~SUMMARY~
L is an orphan who lost his parents in a house fire, now he lives in an orphanage in Winchester, England called Wammy's House. Years later he becomes the World's Greatest Detective due to his high IQ, he never left a case unsolved, until he stumbled upon the Kira case. Kira has been killing criminals with a mysterious unknown power, it's up to L to find who Kira is and stop his twisted desire to cleanse the world of evil and become god of the new world.

He suspects Princess Misa Amane for being the Second Kira. He sends his top successors, Mello and Near, to investigate at the royal ball, that was held that night. L said he would stay in his headquarters, but he's got other plans. He instead investigates the ball, disguised as a guest. But Kira is attending the ball too, attempting to eliminate all who stands in his path to justice.
The princess takes interest in L, how will he get out of this sticky situation? Will he solve the case without getting killed by Kira himself?
