Merlin has been Arthur's valet for a year or two. Though they did not get along at first, there has never been a closer friendship. All is well at Camelot until a visit from Uther Pendragon's friend Lord Grantham of Downton Abbey and his household turns Merlin and Arthur's friendship on its head. Merlin meets Tom Branson, the Downton Abbey chauffeur and fellow Irishman, who opens his eyes to the world of politics. Can Merlin and Arthur survive the turmoil of the anti-aristocratic movements and a the world that is changing faster than they can comprehend?
