Things really went south for Desi the day his girlfriend disappeared.
Being a suspect in a missing persons case meant he was at risk of suspension from school, and having the cops breathing down his neck made it really hard to keep selling the illegal substances that were paying for his tuition. Even his band mates won't talk to him anymore; they think the same as everyone else.
He killed her. That's what they all whispered behind their hands in the halls when they saw him. It didn't matter that the cops hadn't arrested him and no body had even been found. That's what everyone thought of him regardless.
Everyone, besides Desi's eccentric classmate, Casper. He has a different theory, but it's even crazier than the idea that Desi was a murderer.
Wendigo.
Desi didn't believe in ghosts or gods and he certainly didn't believe in a cannibalistic monster running a muck in his quiet little town. But if humoring these wild paranormal theories was what it took to have someone on his side, he was happy to do so. Maybe while trying to prove it, they'd stumble across enough evidence to clear Desi's name like Casper promises.
Unfortunately, as even more people with connections to Desi start disappearing, things only become more damning. Even Desi himself is starting to doubt his own alibis, and with Casper's ghost stories stuck in his head, he can't help but wonder if maybe the truth lies somewhere in between.
Maybe it was him. Maybe it was a Wendigo. Maybe... he was the Wendigo.

"Who's there," I can't breath. I'm always looking over my shoulder ever since- I can't think about the now. I have to run but where, back to Jake? No I can't, everything is different now. He's supposed to be here to protect me, because if the got me... blood smears the pages of the passed. "Sapphire!" I hear him call. "Coal!" I reach out to touch him only for him to be yanked just out of my reach. I hear the wolves in the distance howling at the beautiful moon. I need his touch again. I need to know I'm safe. The Wendigo found Dahlia in the twisted metal heap that used to be their car, just moments before her soul left her body. He fed his blood to Dahlia and brought her back to his home against her will. Dahlia should have died that day for more reason than one. But for some reason she was getting healthier by the day. Why is she alive? How could she live without her consort James? (I did get this idea from the Wattpad Original Bite Me which is also now a webtoon comic called Love Bites. So the only thing I plan to use from said book is that Werewolf blood is desirable to Vampires and the fated mates thing. Also a feud between the Werewolves and Vampires which is obvious in any supernatural book. But I'm still giving the author of Bite Me the credit for this idea. Also, I found out they love PJO specifically Solangelo so woo!) Nico di Angelo comes from a very long line of Vampires, his father was the head of one of the largest covens, after the death of his sister. He was the next heir. He didn't want to be the heir. Hell, he didn't even want to be a vampire. But you can't help what you were born into... He was attending a University with his cousins Percy and Jason and his best friend Leo when a guy Nico had never seen before ran into his life at the University capturing much attention. He had tan skin with freckles, a mop of golden, curly, blond hair. Not to mention the brightest smile. Nico immediately felt drawn to him but what's worse... to his blood. He did everything he could to avoid him but that's when he got the news... Werewolves were back in Manhattan...Concluida

As soon as Cara's lover finds out about what happened, he begged his parents to not kill Cara; instead, Cara must leave the whole city and never return again. For Cara, his lover's decision was not enough because she thought that she will be protected and his lover will take responsibility of her but as soon as the Cara and her children were forced to be banned from the city, she never seen him again. Cara worked hard years after the tragedy and struggled giving her children the best life; fortunately, the small restaurant business she made boomed and got attention from the city she was living in and she immediately rose to success and reached a high peak of her life. More years after her success started, she decides to take revenge and take down the people who once treated her like a dirt and her 4 children and 1 adopted son agreed on her plan. They are about to return to Hudson City and from now on, Cara will make sure that the Marquez will get what they deserve after years of suffering from them. She will make sure that the Hacienda will never stay heaven cause as soon as she steps inside the whole city, the real image of the family will be revealed and you will figure out it was never heaven but hell.Concluida
