Once upon a time there was a girl name Evangeline King, Eve for short. She lives in a world full of shifters and non-shifters. Her parents were the King and Queen of people that hated shifters. Eve never believed them, because her best-friend was a shifter. His name is Daniel Grey, he could shift into a tiger. He would hide his secret from the others. But one day, Daniel vanished and Eve never saw him again. Over time her parents died, and her name and kingdom were forgotten. Eve became poor and went to live with her friend Amber. Who worked at the bakery, in a small village called Shimmer. Eve lived there for years, working at the local tavern to earn money to help Amber. To this very day, Eve still wonders what happened to her golden tiger.

She just wants to eat them up. ~*~ The alley that takes me to my car smells disgusting like something had died in it, it was dark, a dim light here and there with noises that sounded like a raccoon was in a garbage can. A fat rat scurried across my path, damn thing scared the sh*t out of me. My heart pounding I looked down watching for the rat as I left the alley and not paying attention to my surroundings. I walked straight into someone. Mumbling my apologies while I step to the left of him. He stepped with me. Excusing myself I tried to move to the right of him, he followed me again. As I looked up I realized he wasn't alone. There were three more guys in a small circle surrounding me. What the hell just kids, ages 14 to 18.

This worked fine, at least it did, until they literally bumped into Eliza, a girl their age. Luckily, their wonky powers shifted them into a creature that resembles a human, but it's bound to change eventually, and Eliza will learn the truth. And Eliza is the only friend they've had in a long time. Can the Shifter keep their origins a secret and stay in the only place that's ever felt like home? Or will everything slip through their fingers, just like it always has?

This caused him to roll off of me and I jumped up. so quick I nearly missed it, Xavier stepped forward and grabbed me so my back was pressed against his chest and his arms were holding my arms by my sides. I struggled, but that's when I realised, I'm too short to ram my head into his chin, my arms were held down and my legs completely useless. I. Was. In a land far away, lived Morphers and Shapeshifters. Morphers were people who could morph into one animal, and Shapeshifters all animals. Royalty, people who lived in the center region of the land, could morph into four animals. There were six regions. One was the snowy, one the forest, one the beach, and one the plains. Those were four of the six. Then, there was the Shapeshifters land, filled with hills, and the royal land. The royal land was very posh, and the queen lived there. The Shapeshifters were getting very powerful through the days. The queen told them of a story to the people of the land."The Shapeshifters have been hiding a truth. They came to this land as robbers, robbing all of our things. So, I came to the land to stop them. The Shapeshifters are becoming really powerful, and they pose as a threat once again," she would tell the people. People got scared. When the Shapeshifters came to visit them, they would freeze in fear. The queen took action. She separated the land. The Shapeshifters were kicked out of the land. Only some remained in the hills, hidden. Though the people didn't realize that their queen wasn't telling the truth. In fact, the story was the other way around. The queen was the one who stole the land. She took over the land and the Shapeshifters surrendered. *** One day, two young twins were born in those hills. Those two girls, were going to make things right.
