Sono trascorsi dieci anni dalla fine della Lunga Notte, il periodo più buio nella storia del Continente Occidentale, per porre fine al quale è servito il sacrificio di molti validi uomini. Lo scontro finale con il Re della Notte ha falciato l'ultimo dei draghi, Aegon Targaryen, e la sua regina è morta dando alla luce la loro primogenita, che, all'inizio della nostra storia, siede sul Trono di Spade, affiancata da un reggente, Tyrion Lannister, che fu Primo Cavaliere di sua madre, Daenerys nata dalla Tempesta.
I draghi si sono estinti con la morte di Drogon e Rhaegal e nei Sette Regni la pace viene mantenuta grazie agli sforzi diplomatici del piccolo leone di Lannister, la cui ombra si estende su tutto il Continente.
Tutta Westeros... o quasi. Esiste infatti, nel mare del Tramonto, uno sparuto arcipelago di otto isole che mantiene strenuamente l'indipendenza dalla Corona. La spregiudicata politica del loro sovrano le ha preservate dall'egemonia Targaryen e, sebbene le razzie e la pirateria che sempre hanno contraddistinto l'esistenza degli Ironborn si stiano facendo via via più difficili da praticare, Euron Greyjoy non sembra avere alcuna intenzione di inginocchiarsi. After finishing a successful summoning, Alcor comes across a strange little store and decides to take a look inside. Once inside he ends up meeting a very particular woman. This day, this place, and this woman will end up becoming quite memorable to him. This is definitely a meeting he won't long forget. This is my fic for the Transcendence AU Ficathon of 2020! This fic is based off a prompt on the Transcendence AU Tumblr about Alcor meeting one of the Old Gods. In the prompt it was Earth Mother Gaia Alcor met, & that is who he meets in this fic. I wanted more TAU Gods stuff, so here we are. This is one of the 1st fics I have posted online. I have posted it on AO3 and some other place(s), which I also like. I may link those other places, or at least my AO3 here &/or on my profile some time in the future. Esp. since I want into more explaining and detail in those tags and notes over there that may be helpful while reading this fic. But it is also not needed. This fic can be read pretty much completely as a standalone thing. So it's just an option. If you prefer or just use WP, well I'm gonna be here too as well obviously. Snow Potter would visit Hogwarts every single year at the end of the year to get close with her brother and make friends but also to help with conflicts ( she was there to find Sirius Black, Sorcerer's Stone, etc. Btw, she went to school in the US(witchcraft) and it was slightly more advanced there so she knows more than Harry.
