Millennia ago, people flocked to the land of Syra for the sole purpose of making one of the many famous pilgrimages to the awe-inspiring city of Valencia. Surrounded by imposingly beautiful walls and located on the edge of a high cliff on the coast, it was rumored that Valencia was home to the very Gods themselves.

Over the course of time, however, Syra fell into ruin as great Kings and Queens, noble Lords and Ladies, and greedy Emperors and Empresses all fought for control over Valencia. Because of this, many wars resulted in the death and destruction of the land. The Gods receded from Valencia and isolated themselves in the Heavens, and Valencia closed its massive gates, for what seemed like forever.

Over time, Valencia disappeared from maps and guides and now only legends remain of the once-famed city. However, in the present day, many adventurers and rich dignitaries alike have all sought out to once again re-discover the once great city. Many have been unsuccessful; and even more have died trying to locate it in Syra's un-inhabitable wild lands, where educated and friendly people are few and hard to come by.

However, one lone mercenary within this land of Syra will achieve staggering amounts of glory and gold, when she receives one of the biggest clues of all time to Valencia's whereabouts. While she battles her past demons and insufferable party members, as well as avoiding certain death at every turn, will she ever find Valencia?

And, more importantly...will she ever find true happiness?

Corrupted and one forgotten and formed to be forced upon different Fates and Destinies, they finally find a way home...But the troubles toil and coil as the ones who hunt at the table during the night tail the sly and coy couple. Home at last, they're wings and identity unbound. But the soil of time remain rotten and cruel over the once bound ones, new eyes watch and old faces foil. ------------------------------ I do not own the Fgod multiverse, that belongs to Harrish6 rightfully! I only input my own Idea's and situations into the Fgod multiverse. I also do not own any of the character's used in this rewrite unless I say otherwise. All the original characters and their designs go to their respective owners, go pay the creators of these wonderful characters some much missed appreciation and love! Warnings for this book - * Violence * Suicide * Swearing * Ships * Trauma * Fluff * Self-Harm (Also sorry about the Cover, I was lazy and took down the better pictures because it would half spoil the character design which is again, undergoing changes.) Started....? Ended...? (Nah dude, This ain't ending till I say it's ending.)

From A Kingdom's Shadow

12 parts Ongoing Mature

Apondra had never really understood why she had to keep herself hidden from the world. The kind butcher who took her in as a child always answered the same, because of the war. The war between two neighbouring kingdoms to the west had been resolved almost a decade ago, so what was the worry if she showed her wings in public? Or stopped dressing elf-like to charade around town in? She yearned for freedom, even just to go out and make friends her age. Apondra wanted to see the world. Or at least travel the kingdoms of Galoahar. She had never even been to the capital city of the lands she grew up in with the butcher elf, Barri. But the goddess Mother and Father god, whom all worshipped in their own ways, had their own plans for her to realize. And it was finally time for their plan to be put in motion. But would she be ready for what her freedom would cost?
