"What brings you here, Malfoy?" Hermione questioned the man in front of her, perplexed.

"Is that how you greet an old friend, Granger?" Draco smirked as if they were . . . actually friends.

"I do not have time for your nonsense tricks, Malfoy. Feel free to leave my office if you're only here to annoy than to be at any help." Hermione gritted her teeth but composed herself even if she's completely puzzled about Draco Lucius Malfoy, being here, in her office.

"I have come to collect," Draco smiled at Hermione with complete satisfaction in his face, "Granger." Draco leaned closer to the woman in front of him.

Breathing out, Hermione took his hand and said, "Valet in lucem." Draco wrinkled his nose, looking up at her confused. "Was that an insult?" Hermione rolled her eyes. "No Draco, it's an old saying in Latin." "Well I don't speak Latin 'Mione." She huffed. "I said, Light Prevails Malfoy, because it always does." Hermione thought he might try to argue with her again, make her red in the face with anger but Draco paused when he opened his mouth. She waited in anticipation. His features seemed to soften a little as he stared at the ground. When his eyes came back up to meet her, she thought she might get lost in his gaze. "Light prevails." Leaning in slowly, Draco kissed her on the lips and Hermionie pulled him in. -x- Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger are far from friends, they're barely even acquaintances and if the two of them had their way, they would not be spending their final year at Hogwarts as Head Boy and Head Girl together. But as fate would have it, or rather McGonagoll, they are the top picks to keep the students at Hogwarts in check and out of harms way. Though the two of them might have something to say about that. Regardless, both Draco and Hermione accept their positions and try to move on from their old rivalry, close old wounds, and try to form some sort of friendship. But sometimes the past can't stay buried and old grudges die hard and despite not having to defeat a Dark Lord, their seventh year at Hogwarts may prove to be the hardest one yet. A Malfoy

34 partes Concluida

Draco Malfoy and Emma Dawlish attend Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Emma is almost always a straight A student and she is forced to work with Draco Malfoy to get his grades up. They become friends and their own friends try to keep them from each other, which fails. "Draco, Don't" is Emma's key saying. It represents good and bad. After the war, the teens have to go back to school for another year. When Draco runs away from his home, he wants to stay in the shadows at school. Emma already knew part of the real Malfoy, can she unlock the rest of it? What happens when she starts to fall for A Malfoy? *********** "I'm not the good guy." "I didn't say you were," I wanted to say something to comfort him. "I just said I know you aren't the bad guy." Draco only laughed and hid his head in his hands. "Dawlish, you can't fix the world." "But I can try." I replied steadily, looking at the guy I have known for six and a half years. "And I will try, Draco."
