I Only Want You

In the city of Charlotee, North Carolina, it's pretty easy to be happy. With the weather and hang out spots, not to mention the people.

Meet Makana Nani Tran. She is the newest edition to Charlotte's diversity. Her glowing brown skin, natural waist length jet black hair and petite frame instantly makes her a hot topic and a welcome change from the norm.

Makana isn't with all the superficial standards of her peers. Growing up, she was taught that if you couldn't engage with someone on a spiritual level, they weren't worth the breath. And so for her entire like, that's how she based friendships and relationships off of.

Everyone knows moving isn't easy. Especially when you're a teen. You leave more behind then you even think. Not only did Makana leave her family, she left her lifelong friends, surfing, and her boyfriend and first real love, Makai.

They have been together for over 4 years and saying goodbye to him was the hardest. He cried with her for an hour before her flight took off. They had broken up before Makana moved, because they didn't want the distance to ruin their friendship. But the love was obviously still there.

Now let's watch as Makana comes to embrace life in Charlotte, makes new friends and goes through trials and, maybe even find a new love...
