Corporal Lily Brooks thought that her life was finished after an horrific incident left her scarred for life - until she discovered the Magic Wardrobe.
A/N this short story was inspired by Ellie Goulding's song 'Explosions' and news reports of the brave soldiers who have served, and are still serving, in Afghanistan.

Max, a rather typical, shy girl, recently got the ability to reverse time. After spending the day trying to gain control of her confused mind, she could no longer stand being alone in this freaky situation. Her best friend, Chloe, might have been her best bet for someone to share this information with. She just wanted to get it off her chest and she was prepared to be called crazy by everyone who heard word of Max claiming to have time travel powers, she was even prepared to be called crazy by her best friend. Lily is a normal sixteen year old girl who lives off the coast of Sacury, California, where she loves Theatre and her friends, even though she lives in an orphanage. But when mysterious people randomly start showing up, telling her that her destiny is away from California and away from human life, she goes with them to find what she really is. What will happen as she finds out about her family... her real family? How far will she go to kill the one who murdered her sister... who is also the King of Tanyela? And maybe finding the one guy of her dreams... in a world she never expected.
