"No!" Ana screamed, "please! There's been a mistake! I haven't done any treason I swear-"
A massive hand clapped down on her face, bringing tears to her eyes as blood rushed to the site of the smack.
"You are to remain here at the King's pleasure until further notice," Charles Brandon said stiffly. She could see the confusion in his eyes at such a young girl being thrown into the Tower of London.
"Sir," her voice came only as a plaintive croak, "I beg of you to speak with his Majesty on my behalf. Tell him-!" But the young Duke of Suffolk had already commanded his guards to slam the door shut; the echo of his boots growing quiet against the cool stone walls.
Sobbing, Angelica pulled herself up and watched as the five courtiers were dragged up the scaffold steps, her desperation growing as blood poured across the splintered wood.
Each time a head a came off, the massive crowd cheered when the executioner bellowed, "behold the head of a traitor!"
Angelica wrapped her hands around her slim neck.
One good, clean stroke should do the job.

Nefandum-(Latin) - unspeakable evil or doom. full of bad omens; something grave is about to happen. Ariadne and Alistair Veyreult were once students of the Eldritch Institute, a remote and forsaken school buried deep within the forests of Eastern Europe. Few had ever heard its name, and those who had spoke of it only in hushed tones, as if saying it aloud would draw something listening in the dark. The castle was a blackened ruin shrouded in mist and ivy, its walls breathing with old magic. Shadows crept too close to the students there, and creatures of the night roamed the halls as if they belonged. Their parents had sent them to Eldritch for one reason: it was a sanctuary for the forbidden. A place where the Ministry's gaze could not reach - where dark magic wasn't feared, but sharpened into a weapon. But darkness has a way of claiming what it touches. A string of incidents - quiet, terrible things whispered about but never spoken openly - forced their expulsion. Both Ariadne and Alistair carry the blood of Morgana Pendragon, an ancient, storm-bound lineage. The magic in their veins is old, volatile, and unyielding. It answers to no one. When their power began to slip, Ariadne's control, their parents, on their deathbeds bed turned to Albus Dumbledore, who agreed to bring them to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry - not out of kindness, but to contain what might otherwise consume her. But power like that does not go unnoticed. From the moment Ariadne set foot in the castle, Tom Marvolo Riddle felt it. Her magic radiated in the air like frost on iron - quiet, unrelenting, dangerous. And Tom does not like what he cannot control.

The familiar characters and some background information, are,of course, Tolkien. The new are my own creation,a continuation of that story.I take no credit for Tolkien's body of work. The Kings Test At first it was a simple demonstration of basic commands. But it became apparent to Legolas how thick the tension was between them. He was sure one or the other would meet their demise before this 'demonstration' was over. "Relent."the king advises Gabriella, the tip of his sword mockingly flipping her raven locks."-you are out-skilled,out-maneuvered." "Never."she counters defiantly,in a low, dangerous tone, swatting his sword with such force,it practically flew from his hand. She gave him a challenging look, raising a brow. She wishes to play.Very well. He came at her full force, their blades clashing so fast,it was a blur. The king ruthlessly smacked the sword from her hand, but she quickly did a backwards flip before he could draw on her. "Had enough, little one?"he challenged. She stood, drawing two daggers from behind her. "I'll let you know when I've had enough,my Lord."she returned, her words dripping venom. Fiery little winch. "As you wish."he said, smiling wickedly. It was the first time he smiled at her,and it made her seethe! He skillfully picked up her sword with a flip of his,and took fighting stance. She came flying at him.Legolas covered his eyes. _________________________________ In 1984,19 year old Gabriella finds herself transported to Middle Earth, after loosing consciousness, receiving a round-house kick to the head.Is it all just a dream she's having while being comatose?Or is it true that there are no accidents, that everything happens for a reason?

I looked up horrified to meet his cold blue eyes as they peered down at me, the corners of his mouth curled slightly, revealing some of his beautifully white teeth. "I beg your forgiveness, My prince. I did not mean to offend you by accepting your brother's invitation to dance." I swallowed hard, trying to fight the lump of fear that had started to build in my throat, "I did not think I was allowed to decline." Prince Thomas let out a little chuckle, "Oh, I am not mad at you, Emma." I shivered when my name left his lips, "You have just piqued my interest, that is all."
