The past is a powerful thing. It can remind us of the things that once made us happy, that once made us who we were. It can show us all the things we thought were so complicated at the time but truly were so simple, so easy. And my past, I could never part with it, no matter how many times I try to trick myself into believing it would be better for me if I had. If having the slate cleaned was a better option than acknowledging all the mistakes I've made in my life, all the pain that I've caused. But the past...the past is where she lives. A blurred image that always creeps in when I least expect it, an image that haunts my dreams, a voice that fills my memories like the soft chords of a distant melody. There is where she lives, there is where she haunts, and there is the only place I'll ever get to see her because now she's gone and without her I have nothing. Without her... I am nothing.

Sometimes you get things to happen your way and you're happy, sometimes you don't and you're hurt. What hurts even more is to experience what you had wanted for a little while only for it to be robbed away from you brutally. However, everything does happen for a certain reason doesn't it? - - - - Getting the cute boy in her music class-who now goes to the same school as her-to reciprocate her feelings and get a good score in the tenth grade board exam was definitely in Rithvika Sharma's agenda. What wasn't in it though, was getting into a ruckus of drama. Does she really woo the cute boy? Or is a change of plans in order? But romance isn't the only difficult aspect of life now, is it? - - - - I beg y'all to point out any grammar mistakes 'cause I would love an extra pair of eyes that could point out the mistakes. - - - - 31 / 01 / 2023 : Featured in Wattpad Outreach's "💎 Featured Stories - Best of Outreach Hidden Gems". 20 / 03 / 2023 : Second Place in Young Adult Romance category of Sapphire Awards.
