Growing up in a foster home can be a difficult thing for a young child. Although it may not be as hard as Annie has made it out to be, it can still leave children scarred and alone. Luckily, young Alli Harte has just been accepted into NYU's journalism course with big plans to become a big city reporter, where she can escape her life and start fresh, and maybe, even make some friends. But when things finally start going right, she bumps into a dark haired stranger that changes her life forever.
