Of course she had grown feelings for Kevin at this point. They had developed in the first two months of their time together. She knew then, though, that it couldn't happen. Mainly because they were on the run from Crowley. Also because the wall she put up in her heart was still there. The wall was still standing which meant that void for love was still wide open.
The void that no one had tried to fill yet.
