**"Veins of Velvet Poison: A Love Unraveled"** Love feels like a poison in my veins, It ignites a fire but leaves me in chains. With every glance, it whispers sweet lies, Breaking my dreams, wearing a disguise. In your eyes, there's a beguiling charm, Yet your smile hides a certain harm. You're close, but the heart feels the distance, In this love, there's a painful existence. Every heartbeat sings your name, An endless rhythm, fueling the flame. But this longing that burns in my chest, Pulls me under, leaves me unrest. In this love, every moment's a thrill, Sweet poison flows, yet it's a bitter pill. You seep into my heart, oh so sly, Leading me into darkness, asking me why. You laugh, and I shatter, Caught in your words, my heart's in a clatter. In this deep game of love's cruel fate, Each second apart feels like a weight. Like a chalice filled with toxic brew, Even sipping slowly, I'm lost in you. But I know this love could destroy my core, Yet every wound reminds me I want more. My heart whispers to let you go, But I can't seem to break free from this flow.
