After a long, bloody campaign against another troublesome baron, Mark Draneck can finally return to a life of peace.

Or so he thought.

The city of Solban is facing hardship. Monsters are attacking nearby farms and trade routes, cutting off supply to the city, and Baron Cedric's taxes are unrelenting.

Revolt is in the air.

To help deal with the terrible beasts outside the city, Mark has to work together with Alexis. A beautiful and shy elf with a passion for science and knowledge.

They must find and destroy the monsters before winter comes, otherwise the city will starve, and the citizens will take arms against the baron, leading to chaos.
