A war is brewing. Although blood will be shed, the true battle will be that of ideologies. With their great power and physical strength, the Riunkami clan easily established dominance after the fallout of the Plague War. Due to their practices, however, a group of women has broken from the clan to establish their own, the Kaiho. Lord Malujaw Altastare, the leader of the Riunkami, fears the for the ones closest to him, particularly his son, Drakon Altastare. However, Drakon still must become a fine warrior and is sent to Bydwyn Riese Academy, a recently established military school that focuses more on bringing the individual strength of each warrior, rather than a unified military. As for the Kaiho, their only goal seems to be the liberation of women from the Riunkami, but how they will achieve this is still unknown.

The Guardians are scattered, and war threatens all of Zenartha as the people know it. The rebels in Chardan take drastic measures to ensure their control over their country, and others follow suit. All those involved are forced to make decisions against their own wishes just to survive. In the chaos, however, the remaining Guardians in Western Euradon are fighting their own battles, refusing to take sides if it means shedding people's blood in the place of monsters' blood. There is one person whose ascension to Chardan's throne will hopefully stop the wars, but there is also the risk that the violence will only worsen. It is a risk that must be taken, for the sake of everyone.
