Human Ape

Takes place before and during War for the Planet of the Apes.
(As a nod to Dr.Zira in the original movies I am naming my human/Ape hybrid OC Zira.)

Zira was born in a laboratory, her mother and father had decided to play with nature and tried to use Chimpanzee DNA to make human immune systems stronger. This backfired when her mother was accidentally injected with their serum, and they found out she was pregnant with Zira. At the time of her birth, in a laboratory far away, Ceasar was born. Zira's human parents died not long after her birth walking through the woods near their home/lab. A female chimpanzee named Kala found, saved and adopted Zira. Zira took on some ape-like traits, she walked like them, her teeth grew to be like theirs, her hair didn't grow very long, and her big toe grew much like a thumb like the Apes. The only human things about her were her blue green eyes and her hairless body. When Zira was 8 years old her entire community had been introduced to the virus but Zira's body, with her almost Ape-like immune system, acted like all other apes. It improved her. When she was 18, humans started to burn down their home and they ran and found themselves at Ceasar's community.
