Callania Boom, otherwise known as Calla, had never experienced the trials of school, after being homeschooled her whole life until Year 11, where it's mandatory in her family to attend school. With her strange and baffling sleeping disorder, she manages to get a lot of things done during the night and in the day. Too much than should be possible. Sports, music and books rule her life. When she goes to school, she fears people will question the why behind her full schedule, but she's faced with different problems.
Tyler Calvery is the type of guy your parents would tell you to stay away from. The guy that skips schools, gets with any girl he can, wears a leather jacket, rides a motorcycle and ignores orders, but can't seem to get expelled, no matter what he does at Burknash College. Every one of the boys wanted to be him, or at best be friends with him, but he shuts them all out except for his best friend Jack.
Until the new girl came along and spoke back to him.
Just how far will not only Ty, but all the rest of the boys in the school, go to see her fall for him?
She called him a jerk.
He called her Verstand.

Alexandria Simmons has never been noticed at her high school, Hartwell High. With only having two best friends, she's actually pretty ok with not having anyone bother her for always having a book in her hand, or for keeping to herself. It's actually pretty surprising that no one had the guts to talk trash about her behind her back, or to laugh at how different she is from the rest of the girls in their student body, well maybe that was because of her older brother; by 1 year, Cameron Simmons, who was sort of like the Troy Bolton of their school, and if you ever got on his bad side, well that would definitely suck for you. Alex had an average life, it was as if she was riding one of those slow kiddy rides at an amusement park, that you were forced to go on by your younger siblings or relatives. Her life was simply too boring, plain, simple, so bland. That was until Mr. Jayce Reynolds stepped into the picture. Jayce Reynolds, who was sort of like a younger cockier version of Cameron. Everyone expected him to take over the football team once Cam graduated. Being only a junior, and being one of the best football players in that school was something everyone idolized him for. He was expected to become a football player by his classmates, or to take over some big corporate company by his dad. Speaking of his dad, his family was probably the most dysfunctional yet peculiar group of people that ever stepped on this earth. Aside from that, having the "perfect" girlfriend and being a part of the "popular" crowd had its perks, but Jayce thought otherwise. FORMERLY KNOW AS MY GREEN-EYED JERK. Anxiety disorders accompanied by a heavy load of sacarsm isn't the best combination for a girl like Samantha who is currently trying to escape her past and finish highschool unscathed (if that's even possible). After the unfortunate and quite life scarring event that occurred in her former town, the least thing Sam wants is any form of drama. But once again her bad luck strikes and drama comes knocking on her front door. Ryder or Jayden as he demanded to be called after his sixteenth birthday surely has a reason for that. Sometimes, It's inexplicable how he can go from being hot enough to burn you to being cold enough to freeze you. With a secret so deep and dark it's enough to destroy him, Jayden can't help but find refuge in his two-sided life. When Sam and Ryder meet due to certain unforeseen circumstances, Sam has a hard time figuring him out(not that she wanted to either, her situation just demanded it).
