“Tell me, have you ever felt inadequate, invaluable, and forgotten? If you would disappear right now,… would anyone notice?” long, slender fingers delicately wrapped around his wrists as he could do nothing else but stare at the young man in front of him. “are you uncomfortable with my appearance?” He asked and it took him only a fraction of a second, fast enough that had Landon Blinked he would have missed it to change his look. “I can help you, you know.” Plump dark red lips planted themselves softly on the tanned skin of Landon’s wrist. “I can make everything better” she said as her lips moved up to the crook of his elbow. “Make them pay.” She whispered again and her lips now pressed themselves against his neck. “make them suffer”
Those eyes would haunt him for the rest of his life. After all the precautions, going as far as even moving to a different country he once again finds himself eye to eye with a set of unnatural, glowing eyes of dark lilacs.
Running didn’t help, so should he just accept his fate instead? To die like a pig, and let his body rot away? Perhaps that’s the reason why Landon took it upon himself to stay away from those violet eyes that sought his green one’s in school. She was one of them, one of the creatures out to hunt him. It was only a matter of time before she spilled the information to his hunter. Then again, would she really help him this much, even going as far as to integrate him into her group of friends?
