Kim Yoon is a kind girl, she really is. She has just been in the hurt in the past, broken down with her father's disappearance, her mother's alcohol addiction and abuse, and her inability to deal with her own emotions.

Having to move back to her hometown, she finds herself hiding her feelings behind a smile. But beneath that pretty surface lies the demons she's been trying to face and overcome.

Except this time she won't be able to pretend anymore or hide the bruises on her skin with heavy makeup, to shy away from any interaction that wouldn't be strictly necessary. This time, she might just be able to face the difficulties that approach.

Seven boys will see beyond her surface. Seven boys will change her life, her beliefs and her dreams.
