When I slammed my locker shut and turned to see Toby standing there, watching me, I jumped in fright and dropped my bag. Talk about speaking of the devil. I picked it up quickly before he could and said a rushed "hi" before turning to leave. But Toby pulled me back to him making my flustered countenance change and I was suddenly defensive. I pulled away and made a face. "Do you need something or something?" I questioned him. "Relax," he said. "Are you in a hurry?". He sounded so sweet. And why was he looking down at me so innocently? "I'm not", I said with a shake of the head. He seemed very polite so I instantly felt bad for being rude. "What's up?". "You're Harvey, right? Harvey Celestine?". I nodded. "You're Maria's friend". "To the point, Meyers". I was quickly becoming bored. Toby looked surprised for a moment, although I didn't know why. But then, he smiled a little. "You left your geography note and textbook in class and that wouldn't do considering the fact that we have a geography test tomorrow". I immediately switched up and started thanking him profusely. All my sticky notes and reminders were in there. He smiled and waved it off before turning to leave. When I got home, Maria gave me a phone call, squealing like a child. "Toby invited me to his birthday party this Saturday!". I pulled the phone away from my ears to protect myself from the extra scream that came after that. "He said you could come too". "No thanks, I've got to study". "Tests are ending tomorrow". "Uh college..". "...isn't until the end of the year? Dude, why are you being so ....not fun?". "Dude," I said, getting up to pace. "I just don't want to come". "Why?". "I don't know". "Dude, why?". "I said I don't.....". Immediately, I was interrupted by a stone flying through my window and into my room. I instantly screamed.

"You can't say stuff like that" I mumble, and he chuckles. "And why cant I?". "Because we're friends" I say, reminding both him and myself. I dont miss how Cameron's smile drops a little from my reminder, but he plays it off and nudges my shoulder. "Indeed we are pretty girl. So I suggest you quit blushing around me. That's not what friends do". _____________________________________ Charlotte Hendrix. Everyone at school views her as sweet, innocent little Charlotte. But when left alone, with the help of three milkshakes, a friendship forms between the two. Well..its a bit more complicated than a simple friendship. Feelings are quickly formed, but its never that simple. Add some denial, a few milkshakes, alot of toxic friendship, and a bit of fighting feelings, and you end up with this hectic story. my family took me on a family vacation to the beach to go swimming. we arrived at our beach house at midnight my family went to bed after eating dinner, but I wasn't tired so I stayed up until 3:51 am and went to bed. this will be my first time spending a vacation with my family, I love spending time reading story books in my room then interact with people. I made a deal with my mom that I would not read and if I win, she would buy me a few new stories to read but if I lose. my mom would take me to go shopping with her to buy news clothes for me,and she knows that I hate shopping for clothes with my parents! I rather shop on my own when I go out.

Journey with me back in time as I rewrite the first Journal I kept from when I was in high school, and see that maybe even with how horrible life is most of the times, there are little things spread throughout that make life worth living. My high school experience was full of drama, tears, laughter, and most of all constant search of love, and approval of the people around me. I can't always get what I want in this world. Life is a beautiful mess. It's not perfect, and filled with a lot of disappointments, and heartbreak. There are moments when it all feels too much, but there's not much we can do other than go with the flow of things.
