Stoick the vast disowns his son, Hiccup, when he finds out that he has sided with the dragons.
Hiccup and Toothless escapes from execution, and plans to never come back. But fate has other plans, as Hiccup returns five years later , and finds out he has to save the dragons from both, Berk and the Red Death.
But he also has to save his own life, including Berk from a new enemy.,
Stoick wants his son to stay home, but what he doesn't realize is that Hiccup isn't 'Hiccup' anymore.
He's a whole different person.

That is not Stoick's son.

For twelve years of his life, he was forced to live with Viggo who works with a group of Outcasts all of which serve a much greater power. Viggo hated the child and took him only to get revenge on Stoick the Vast. He abused the boy, beating him almost to death multiple times, marking him with what he called ownership. Now, he's eighteen years old whose desperate to live his life. With so many people after him, his father forces Hiccup to stay on Berk until he finds a man whom he refuses to talk about. Hiccup begins to suffer from night terrors that make him want to stay along with battling his own mental condition. Things go south again when an unexpected traitor hands Hiccup over to the ones who want to destroy him mentally and physically. Meanwhile back at Berk, Stoick was furious rampaging through his house looking over numerous different maps. He was desperate to find his son. So desperate he would do anything to get him back. He's usually the one to take advantage of the snowy weather, going dragon sledding with Astrid and the gang. But when Hiccup, mysteriously falls ill with an unknown sickness, Stoik's worries for his survival in the cold grow. In hopes to cure his only son Stoik sets out to sea to find the right medicine leaving Hiccup in the constant care of Gobber and Astrid. When tragic strikes, and Hiccup is now left on his own, his chances of surviving become small.
