As Optimus Prime flew into its core, white light enveloping him and he thought he could finally rest, he then wakes up to falling in the sky, plummeting to green foliage below, an immense abnormality for Cybertron. When he comes to, he realizes that he was back on Earth, but it wasn't his, at least not from the way people looked. All he knows, besides the obvious, is that he was no longer his large metal self, he had powers, and he wasn't alone. + - - - - - - - - - | • • • | - - - - - - - - - + This is a different take to "Optimus gets thrown into MHA". Soundwave left Earth with the minicons and his brother and, apparently, is not going to return, he was replaced by Megatron, whom Bumblebee has even less confidence in than when he started working with the signalman. Despite this, Optimus seems to want to see the former enemy as his ally. Therefore, the yellow bot will have to accept the presence of his killer in his life. However, as it soon turns out, the Autobots will face a much more dangerous threat than escaped criminals.... Notes: The second season of my fanfiction "Dubious Ally". A regular day of mining turns chaotic when an unknown creature somehow found its way into the energon mines. With a sudden disruption, all the miners had no choice but to search for whatever had gotten into mines and almost cause the loss of mined energon into a deep, dark pit of the mines. However, when they find what had caused the chaos, it became a shock. A small, frightened sparkling had somehow found her way into the mines now found herself in the hands of someone most of the miners would consider to not be responsible for even caring for a sparkling. A red and blue bot named Orion Pax. With the two stunned, Orion found himself in an awkward situation. Especially as this sparkling bore some resemblance to Orion and his closest friend, D-16. Which quickly becomes a joke among the miners, despite the fact this sparkling clearly came from the city itself. However, with no record of any new sparklings in the medical database, and no information of who the parents of this sparkling might be, the two young mining bots find themselves forced to care for this sparkling as it was quickly decided she would become a mining bot just like them. Which left them both scrambling to learn to even how to care for a sparkling who demanded attention and formulated energon for herself. And that was made even more difficult as it was soon discovered that this sparkling's vocal processor was not functional. Meaning this young spark was mute, and possibly kicked out. However, as time goes by, they learn to teach the young spark to communicate without speech, and discover she had an extreme fear of Sentinel Prime. Neither Orion or D-16 understood the reason. Orion Pax, as Primus' most recent creation, has to prove himself worthy of becoming a Prime, like the rest of his brother deities. But everything changes when he met D-16, a "defective" mining bot from Iacon City. Orion is drawn to D-16's mortal life, and D-16 sees in Orion that company he has never had before. However, the rules of Primus are clear: the gods must not openly interact with mortals. But there would be no harm if D-16 didn't know Orion's true nature, right?
