Hey guys, So this is my Josh and Maya story. This is the first time I'm doing something like this and hopefully I'm never gonna be as obsessed about a ship again in my life :D. This story takes place throughout the time from the end of the show. Maya and her friends are in their Sophomore year in High School while Josh is a Freshman at NYU. By the end of the story, Maya will be starting her senior year of Highschool and Josh will be a junior at College or so. I tried to combine the Disney sentiment of the show with more adolescent content. So there will be a bit more intense stuff here and there. But the first few chapters will be more light and modest so bare with me please and give it a chance ;). Also, English is not my first language so if there is some weird wording/grammar/syntax and misspelling, I apologize in advance;). Hope you will all enjoy! Update on Januray 2023: I just finished my major construction on the story. I didnt change the plot nor the sweet scenes between Josh and Maya but I did change the stuff after the plot because I made it too dramatic in the first place. Josh and Maya haven't spoken much in the past few years after their nasty breakup but when Riley and Lucas announce their engagement and plan their Bachelor and Bachelorette parties in Vegas the two end up reconnecting over a few drinks and the next morning they wake up married. The only problem is that back home Josh has a job offer that would move him to California and Maya has a boyfriend with plans of an engagement. THE SEQUEL IS OUT Joshua Matthews is not related to Riley in this story, they just both have the last name because it's a common lasts name. Maya is the same person that she was in 7th and 8th grade. She got over Lucas because he chose Riley. Which helped her realize, that she didn't want to be in a couples relationship with him, she just wanted to be friends forever with him, riley and Farkle. And so she has never met or had a crush on him. But she's heard of him. He's a artist just like maya but she still never bothered to meet him. Josh is the same character as in the show, caring, sweet, great style and a great sense of humour. Although he does have his flaws, and he's always ready to beat someone up if he has to. He's into art. He's heard of Maya as the rebellious chic. He's never met her, nor does he want to, but he heard she likes art too.Complete
