We can't run. We can't hide.
They know everything.
Because they created us.

In the futuristic world of the United States that fell from war, a new Government and new age has begun. There is no electricity. Four great cities: Nobility, Endowment, Outcome, and Paradox were built. Each city is for a different purpose. Everything is perfect. It's called the New Nobility.

Perfection is deception.
It is all a ruse.
All they want is power.

Some people have seen past the peacefulness of the New Nobility, and don't want to follow their ways. Resistance is bubbling up in the depths of no where, waiting for their chance to strike. Because they think in all this peace, the New Nobility had no means of defense. No armies.

They are very wrong.
There are 50 of us.
And we are almost ready.

The New Nobility has a secret. Something they kept hidden from the rebel spies for 15 years. They are called the Marked. Enhanced human beings. They are stronger, faster, and capable of things humans could only dream of. But they will not be complete until the 27th day of the 16th year of the New Nobility. On this day, the beast that has been created in each of these Marked will escape, making the Marked darker; stronger; and murderous. They will not consciously act. They will be controlled by this monster. And that day is only a Month away. But Charlotte - a sixteen year old Marked - is determined not to let this beast control her. But this defiance may cost her her life.

We are impenetrable.
We are unstoppable.
And we will destroy the Rebels	.
