Britta Merritt has never been normal. Raised in a foster home for as long as she can remember, fitting in was never easy for her. But being an orphan was not the odd aspect about her. The thing was, whenever she submerged herself in water, she would become a mermaid. An oddity that she doesn't understand, Britta naturally wants nothing to do with anything Mer-related. But her hopes of living a normal life are shattered when she spots a merman swimming near the coast. Immediately plunged into the world of the Mer, Britta finds herself tangled in a mystery that does not just involve a murderous traitor, but also dangerous secrets about Britta herself. As the truth unravels, and there seems to be betrayal around every corner, Britta must find the culprit or face the consequences.

Over the next few weeks I will be going through it to fix typos and grammatical errors but otherwise this story is complete! Enjoy! Sirena Brinn is just your average 18 year old... Well, aside from the fact that she can breath underwater. After moving back to her childhood home of Glasspoint, Florida Sirena's entire reality is changed when she learns that merpeople exist, and that she could even be one herself. Eventually, she finds herself in the company of Calder, a mysterious merman who seems to know a little too much about her, and Darrien a handsome merprince who puts the fate of his kingdom in her hands. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ It took all of me not scream at the sight before me. Calder was standing in my bedroom, stark naked. "Oh my god!" I cried, shielding my eyes. I leapt from under my covers and ran into the bathroom. I snatched a towel off the rack and flung it at Calder. So clearly last night wasn't a dream. "What the hell?" I hissed as he wrapped the towel around his waist. "How did you get in here?" "I climbed up from the balcony." He replied casually. "You're insane." "Well if you hadn't run off last night and just let me explain, I wouldn't be standing here right now." He said coldly. "Oh it's my fault? Okay. Well can you really blame me?" I exclaimed angrily. I was pissed that he was pissed at me. "Up until last night, I didn't even think mermaids existed, and then you tell me that I am one!" "Well excuse me for trying to give you some background information about yourself." He scoffed. (Book 6 in the Family Ties Series) Since being adopted by the Solomon's, life has changed drastically for Faye Mercer. Not only has she discovered and gained a new family she hadn't known existed; she also learned something about herself that has changed how she views her life. She is a Siren, an ancient group of mermaids blessed with enchanting voices. Each mermaid comes from a unique background (they are either orphans or only have one parent), and they have felt ostracized or alone in their upbringing. For most of them, their 'Sisters' are the only family they have. In Faye's case, she's lucky to have her brother and adopted parents, but others weren't so lucky. Waverly Marshal, Faye's frenemy, only has her mother since her father murdered her half-sister. He was then killed by Faye in order to save the life of someone she loved. After being dealt a horrible ultimatum and a shocking revelation, Faye must decide what's more important: her sanity and morality, or friendship. Will she be able to make the decision, therefore keeping her sanity and morality, or will she fall prey to what everyone who has wielded the Lost Soul Pendant has in the past: power? Read to find out.
