There is a small coastal village in the Never Province, approximately four hundred miles away from Never's City. The village is on the edge of the sea, trapped between its waves and the deep forest nearby. The locals know not to wander inside, for if you do, you may fall victim to the creatures that live within...
Adelaide is visiting her aunt and uncle. One of the first things she learns is this: Stay away from the Unfamiliar. Adelaide is good at doing what she's told. She's practiced doing it her whole life.
Something inside her just can't stay away, and she doesn't understand why.
(Be warned that this story will contain elements that may be triggering to some people. This includes hints/mentions of emotionally abusive family members, brief violence/mention of injury, death (nothing graphic), and blood. I am not certain whether these elements are prevalent enough to constitute a mature rating. If I make up my mind, I will change the rating.)

Winter

This is a story adaptation of my group's real dnd homebrew campaign! The story follows three main characters: Orion, an apathetic Drow from a Nobel family of assassins that he's recently disowned. He's cutthroat, tactical, and most importantly, he works alone. Faentom, a bubbly and outgoing Eladrin Elf who grew up in a small village in the feywilds. She was adopted and grew up with no other Eladrin to teach her about herself and she's spent her whole life craving to find out. And Eli, a chronically anxious Half-Elf cleric from the Twin Alters monastery. As a bastard his family never truly saw him as one of their own but he was forced to step up nonetheless to one day take over his fathers position as head cleric. Living vastly different lives in vastly different lands, the three of them somehow wake up in a strange hovel with no memory of having known each other, how they got there, or where they are. But wasting no time at all a mission is thrust upon them, a dangerous entity has been disrupting the feywilds, strange attacks and kidnappings, and polluting the waters. Will the group accept the mission or make their own mission of trying to figure out what happened to them and returning back to their previous lives? The rewrite is being uploaded! Check out The Grave Keeper on my page! A strange boy who's adopted family happens to be...well dead. A strange town that's only getting stranger as packs of werewolves arrive. they are only a precursor to what is coming. Mages, and more will soon be arriving in silver-spruce, any of them a potentially life threatening danger to him. But...if the boy keeps his head down and tries to avoid attention, than maybe just maybe, he can survive. Sadly for him, one of those wolves is claiming the part of town he happens to live in as her territory. And the boy has never been particularly good at keeping his head down in the first place. (This is a completed first draft of this story, I will eventually be uploading the second draft which is wildly different, less using the same bones as this first draft, more just a few of its organs. Ie. characters, location, and themes, But only bits and pieces of this drafts plot.)
