In a world where freedom of speech is forbidden in the city, Elodie Crawford finds refuge on a farm in the Middle of Nowhere, United States.

The Change, as they call themselves, have taken over centralized society and are slowly encroaching on the outskirts of Semblance City, or what used to be New York City. They're taking rights and lives and cannot be stopped.

On the farm, Elodie meets Clark Jameson, the farm owner's son. He's hard-working, charming, caring, but above all, runs a secret operation that is working on a way to destroy The Change.

Together, Elodie and Clark will work together to restore society back to the way it once was. They will face challenges that will test their partnership, and along the way, their bond might become stronger than they ever thought it could be.
