Before a major movie break Normani takes a vacation to relieve stress about the upcoming change in her life. She lived her life the best she could, dwelling in music and art, never aware of the things that happened around her. Every day, she walked down to the store on the beach, knowing that the only person who dared to interact with her was always there. Normani Kordei owned the surf shop, something her father had decided to let her run for the summer and was the only friendly person who would talk to the green eyed girl. It wasn't out of pity for knowing she had no friends, but a longing for the sweet girl's company. No one wanted to talk to Lauren or even be around her because she of her illness. It wasn't transmittable but Lauren's depression seemed to act that way which left many to naturally move away from her. They pitied her, but not enough to try and care for her. With one month left to live, Lauren is determined to make it the best of her life. *disclaimer* it's not that realistic SINCE ITS FICTION AND YOU CAN DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH FICTION. I never thought I could put together a whole Story. Back in 2016 my girlfriend used to write a book on her own, she was the reason I ever started writing anything so I'd like to thank her for that and even go as far as dedicating this book to her, even though we aren't a part of each other's life anymore. I started writing this book back in 2016 and since then I improved a lot. There was a time in 2017 - 2018 when I gave up on this book but in 2019 I finally decided to pick it back up and finish it off. Epilogue updated on June 29th, 2019. I know it's not the best book of all time but I'm proud of finishing it, even though the story and writing style doesn't match me as a person anymore.
