" 'Whoa, whoa, whoa. I don't think there's any need to bring a gun into this' I sooth the skittish teenager, my opportunity missed but i continue to train my eyes on his shaking hands which clutch the gun. 'Give me your wallet lady' he states, gesturing with the gun.
Before I can utter a reply a hooded form barrels into my assailant, effectively taking the lanky youth down. Jumping slightly I watch the gun slide across the paved ground, stopping at the alley wall.
Hastily walking towards it I pick up the clammy weapon and turn around, only just catching a glimpse of my attacker fleeing out the mouth of the alley.
Turning my gaze back to my 'defender' I squint, the darkness impairing my vision. Watching him remove his hood I suck in a sharp breath as what little lighting there is illuminates his features.
