Toni never intended to be stuck within a game.
Nobody really intends for that to happen, because to be truthful, that just doesn't genuinely happen.
Unfortunately for Toni, this supposed little nightmare becomes reality.
Monika, the games antagonist, is the obvious perpetrator, but surprisingly it's all for a good cause.
After Toni finished the game, Monika was left in a lonely void, devoid of nobody's affection but silence and her own screams. She realised her mistakes, but she needs the players help. To change the course of the game and to twist the coding to give everyone a chance at a good end.
