Maybe it's the loneliness in his voice. Or the way he lingers in the shadows, waiting for me to see him. All I know is... I don't think I want to run anymore.

(BOOK ONE) Ever feel like someone is watching you. You would lay in bed, in the dark and you can feel their eyes on you. Suddenly you hear footsteps walking closer to your bed and suddenly you can feel their warm breath in the back of your neck. You would hide under the covers hoping that you just imagine it, but then a hand brush against the covers. A scream escape your lips and you would wake up from the nightmare. Ghost only exist in movies and your nightmares right? Well you're wrong they do exist. You just can't see them, but I can. The only different between you and me is that if you wake up from your nightmare it's over, but if I wake up from a nightmare it just continues.

What happens then when you wake up in your city face down on the ground a deep feeling of deja vu accompanied by an even deeper feeling of dread that you don't belong here. The lights of a gas station you vaguely recognize beckoning you closer drivin by humans base instinct, hunger. The demon inside though distracted WILL threaten your life.
