"Cool, lets go!" we jumped off his bed and ran towards his stairway, where he sat on his railing. "What are you doing?" I asked the crazy person. "Being cool," He jested just before he began to slide down his railing like a little kid. I just imagined him with a pair of shades covering his sea blue eyes, and pointing two finger shaped guns my way. Once he got to the bottom he jumped off to the side. "Your turn" He chirped to me. "Um..no I don't think so," "Come on! Don't be such a Debbie downer. I promise I will catch you," "This does not look safe" I pondered, moving slightly toward the railing. "It isn't," I widened my eyes. "Just do it, you will love it trust me," "Ugh, I think your crazy is rubbing off on me," I defeatedly stated. "Then you should be thanking me," That stupid smirk was back, and prominate through his handsome features. "And why is that," I asked quizzically. "Because crazy people live longer. Your welcome," I laughed harder than I should have to this before putting my butt on top of the railing and sliding down. 17. That's how old I am today. It's about time too. I was getting sick of being 16. I hear a low rumble being emitted from my chest. I run towards the woods before the change takes over my body. As soon as I get to the woods near the lake I have come to know and love, ducks are floating in the middle looking for something to eat. I quickly strip down to only my sports braw and shorts, when and excrutiating paing takes over my body and I fall to the ground. My legs were the first to change. I seriously felt like dying. The pain of every first change is unbearable. Thankfully it all soon stops and I am standing on all fours. I walk towards the lake noticing that the ducks that used to be there were long gone. I must have scared them. No matter how brilliant this dragon looked, however, I couldn't fight back the only other thought that was running through my head. OLD: While I'm very proud for this being my first completed major project, it's still old as hell, several things make 0 sense and there's a lot of random convoluted stuff and little consistency, especially in characters. This was something I wrote to escape when I was down and often sleep-deprived so I just wrote what I felt like in the moment. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ITS SEQUELS.
