As the teller of the jackets great existence I should, before starting with the first of twelve stories, tell you of its nature. Though it is tragic how all its victims fell one must admit that it is a tale worth remembering, a temperament I hope few become to live like and a piece of clothing not to be manufactured again. The purpose of the jacket from the very beginning was to destroy, to destroy and take the souls of each of its victims. Twelve victims with each their own different sin to commit and obliterate them and the people they love. Where the jacket was made I still do not know. Where it is now I cannot say, but that it will not cause any more harm is a hope I do not believe to be fulfilled. For when you finish reading this book you will see that the last sin is yet to be committed. However, I hope that if you do become the jackets next victim, you will find the courage and strength to resist the temptation. Maybe that is why I write these chapters, to show you its consequences, to warn you. I have dated the jacket's existence to 1588... the first chapter in our book. The story is like all the others; exciting, filled with adventure but above all evil. We ask ourselves: What is sin? What are these strange sensations? What is this evil that can take control of man and never let go? How easily a man can sell his soul, how easily he gives himself away to lust, greed, sloth, wrath, gluttony, envy or to any of the others! It is taboo. Let us be honest and straight-forward; if we look at these stories we can see that actually there is no hope for us. No hope that something good will come forward and eliminate all these bad shadows. Be realistic, be open-minded and be set to know and be shown the truth. Sin destroys. Man sins and then destroys... And there is no hope left for a reconciliation?
