Meanwhile, a 17-year-old has more attention than she ever wanted after her father supposedly murdered seven in a horrific car accident. She suffers following the fatal death of both her parents as a dilemma between life and death is her struggle. Her name is Kelsey Macario, so far.

As the two live their own separate, seemingly unlinked lives, Tom finds but is soon left by the second love of his life, and Kelsey discovers the secrets of her true parents. Eventually, when the lowest point of their lives are met, they accept their fate and could do nothing but take their own lives or do they?

But all of Emmy's plans come to a screeching halt when the FBI shows up at her door to let her know that she's being stalked by a serial killer. Suddenly, the safe, insulated world she created for herself is riddled with violence, fear...and a growing pile of dead bodies. At first Emmy wants nothing more than to forget her chilling new reality - but her admirer isn't finished with her yet, and before she knows it, Emmy's stuck in a nightmare she can't dance her way out of.
