Cara Wilson is clumsy. It took her two and a half years to walk properly without falling over, and still often does it now. She has broken vases, slipped on concrete, fallen down stairs, fallen up stairs, broken her arm three times, and many others. But most recently is when she stole a bag carrying some questionable items.

Ryder Thompson is a gang leader. Not a fun one either. He has a deep hatred for most things, especially Cara, an annoying, little girl who stole his bag. So he does the only logical thing and kidnaps her after she knocks herself out. 

But Cara forgives him. Even after he interrogates, blindfolds, ties, threatens her and so on. After all, who can stay mad at those cheekbones.
