Aria Ivy Evans. A seventeen years old who is about as low as you can get on the social food chain; not that's she minded, less attention for her. She's a person you would consider invisible. She really only had one friend and this was someone who only hanged out with her because Aria didn't really talk about anything; she just pretended to listen. Her face always shoved in a book or her studies. She was completely cut off from the outside world. She made sure of it, not paying any attention to the lives of those around her, especially at school. She heard some of the gossip but she never put names to faces. She didn't care. Her home life sucked and only her Uncle who lived New York gave a crap about her. She was so glad he offered to have her come stay with him this summer, to have time to clear her head and get ready for her last year of high school in Portland, Oregon.

Damon Ezra Grey. The most popular guy in the top highschool in Portland. Maybe it was his looks, being the captain of the football team, or maybe that he was loaded. He didn't really know. What people didn't know was that he was extremely unhappy. He had friends and the attention of pretty much any girl he wanted but he was absolutely miserable. He was utterly confused about his life, wondering if it had any purpose. He would soon be starting his last year of high school and then he would be able to leave everything behind and discover what he was going to do with his life. Since he had so much money he didn't know what to do with it, and his sad excuse of a father didn't care what Damon was doing or where he was, he made the decision to spend the summer in New York. He would be able to spend time in a city he always wanted to visit and would be able to shut the world out and nobody would know who or where he was. it was going to be the perfect summer.

What these two miserable teenagers didn't know was they would be meeting someone who would change there life.
