"The world is predictable," my father once said. "And the beasts that live among it make it so." But were they the beasts, or was it us this entire time?
Crees isn't like the other Tendrils of his society. And that is because of one simple fact: he is still alive. After years of enduring anguish from all sides of every story, he still manages to step out into the ever-hidden sunlight and make relative peace with the world.
Every year for the past seven that he has spent in a canyon so deep the surface is practically a myth, he has found himself facing death but never leaving with Him. And so that cursed tradition continues.
But things are changing. The war high above between their two captivators is intensifying, and the Tendrils know they have little time left. Crees wants nothing more than to enjoy it with those rare few who call him family, call him friend, but his curse is making that difficult. Especially when, this time around, it leaves him under the microscope of the two warring alien tribes.

Bound by Stars
In a galaxy far from Earth, where stars sparkle like jewels in the sky and vast alien worlds pulse with life, two species stand on the brink of conflict. The Z'hara, majestic winged beings who thrive among the skies of a lush, vibrant world, and the Thalirians, aquatic creatures of unmatched grace who live beneath the surface of distant oceans, have always lived in parallel, separated by the vastness of space and their very different environments. But the delicate peace between them is now threatened by an emerging danger-an unknown cosmic force has begun to tear the fabric of their worlds apart, endangering both their people and the natural resources they rely on to survive. When a cataclysmic event forces the two species to confront the reality of their impending destruction, two individuals from opposite sides of the galaxy are thrown together. Ciela, a brave Z'hara warrior whose wings carry her high above the clouds, is sent to the depths of the ocean on a mission to save her planet's future. Kaelen, a mysterious and gentle Thalarian, is tasked with safeguarding the fragile ecosystems of his world. Though they come from different realms, neither can deny the pull of something greater than their responsibilities-a connection forged by fate and, perhaps, something even older than the stars themselves. As danger looms closer, Ciela and Kaelen's growing bond, despite the overwhelming odds, begins to transcend the boundaries of their species and cultures. But as their feelings deepen, so too does the resistance from their peoples-unwilling to accept such an unprecedented union. In a galaxy torn by ancient prejudices, will love be enough to bridge the divide, or will they be forced to sacrifice everything for the survival of their worlds?Concluída

Nothing is really clear to me. I barely see my parents, Julie and Eli's face as the hand keeps on pulling me away from them. No more links with Elijah. I don't know if I closed my mind or if he did. The Hidden Lives of Monsters
Anyone who has played any Monster Hunter game will have probably noticed at some point that the ways these so called "monsters" act are strangely familiar, with their behavior being more animalistic than monstrous. This is without a doubt the thing that separates this franchise from all other monster hunting games; the beasts we do battle with are little more than this world's versions of animals. Now it's no secret that we're familiar with the lives of the humans, felyns, and wyverians, as we spend a lot of time with them; however, what about the monsters? Do we really know what the lives of these fantastical animals are like? In this book, we'll be exploring the hidden lives of the monsters themselves and see the world through their eyes. We'll learn what their everyday lives are like, the challenges they must face to survive in their natural habitats, and even how they manage to more or less peacefully coexist with other creatures and civilization. So if you want to see what it's like to live as a monster, join me on this journey, and discover the hidden lives of monsters. Warning! Because nature can be very unforgiving, some of these stories may contain potentially upsetting content to some readers, with gore, violence, and mating being some of them. This book is supposed to give an accurate representation of monster lives, so despite not being present in the games for obvious reasons, the simple fact is that these less palatable things definitely do happen when nobody's looking. Finally, all pictures belong to their rightful owners.Concluída
