Kakashi Hatake was always alone. Sure, some people still cared for him or consider him a friend, but to Kakashi, he didn't see that. He had no one after his comrades died. He had no one when Minato-sensei and Kushina died. He had also lost one of his closest friends, Kassy Uchiha. 

Kassy Uchiha was everyone's dream. The boys wanted her as a girlfriend, friend or wanted to get married to her in the future. The girls wanted to be her friend or just like her, meaning as her talents. Kassy was a fantastic, talented Shinobi. She was known all across the Shinobi World as the 'Phoenix Flame' or for short, 'Flame.' (Flame is mostly used as a nickname for her.) She mastered the Sharingan and the Mangekyō Sharingan at the age of 3. She was practically, at the age of 5, a Jonin rank at the academy. Although she still remained a chunin level.

Kakashi and Kassy soon became very close to each other at the academy. 
- They were always at the top of their class. 
- They were rivals when it came to their lessons. 
When Kakashi was 1st at something, Kassy glared at him. When Kassy was 1st for something else, Kakashi glared at her. It was a weird kind of relationship between the two, mostly at school though. Outside of school, they stuck to each other like magnets. Everyone who knew them said 'they're kind of weird.' or 'they are the opposites of each other.' Which is true, but they get along really well.
