The year is 2215 and a lot has changed in the world. The world has split in half, with the Southern Hemisphere disappearing into the black abyss of space. Fifteen year old Salihera "Sal" Collins knows the impact the world splitting has left seen as when she was seven her mother went on one of the many unsuccessful space missions from the Northern Hemisphere to find the missing southern portion of the planet. She was left with only her father after her older brother's untimely demise. When she herself is sent on one of these missions, can she finish what her mother and brother never got to? With the help of Elijah Renner, can she overcome the consequences of death, cloning, and many others, can she save what little of the world we have left while trying to stay alive.
