The year is 2215 and a lot has changed in the world. The world has split in half, with the Southern Hemisphere disappearing into the black abyss of space. Fifteen year old Salihera "Sal" Collins knows the impact the world splitting has left seen as when she was seven her mother went on one of the many unsuccessful space missions from the Northern Hemisphere to find the missing southern portion of the planet.
