Louis hurt everyday, seeing the boy he was once, yes once, in love with. He had to see his ex lover, Harry Styles, happy with another girl. He didn't admit it, but it killed him more everyday.
It's not that they broke it off, it's why and how it happened. Harry had an affair with the girl he was with now, him and Louis lasting Freshman year till the end of Junior year, and that's when he cheated.
