Does anyone still believe that magic is true? Powers that a unique human could have, the power to read minds, the power to lift any objects without taking a hold of it. This is what David Sparke dreamt of. His life bores him to death that he wanted to escape from it.
The world of Sorcery is threatened by the new-founded order against the Prime Order, the Dark Order. Lothor Mogar, the founder of the Dark Order, seeks for a rumored book that holds the power of all sorcery in the world and, he plans to destroy the Prime Order that he hated so much. Cassandra Cleor, the Prime Sorceress of the Prime Order, searches for a new sorcerer for the order because many sorcerers left the Prime Order for the safety of their existence and, settled to live with normal humans. The war between the two orders is growing bigger, the search for power, the safety of mankind. How can David face this?

In a world where magical creatures and humans intermix, there are two types of magic and two types of people. Dark magic and light magic. Good people and evil people. Our main character is going to learn that your powers do not define who you are as a person. Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sora has been told that all her life, but she has magic within her, recently awakened, and so she has begun to doubt it. Still, witchcraft is punishable by death, and so Sora must be careful with her practices, lest she lose all she has. Sora is a better witch than wolf, though not by much, but she still pursues that craft in spite of the dangers. Her place in the world is a dangerous one, but will it last? The world she lives in is a dangerous one, and such a life as hers rarely ends happily. Disclaimer: this is a short prequel, Sora's story does not conclude with this one. If you finish this book and go "oh, that's the end?" it's because it's not the end. I'm writing a trilogy called Mortance that explores the larger world that this takes place in and concludes Sora's story more thoroughly than in this book. The Shadow Play
In a world, the people are all blessed with powers or magic of their own at the age of 15. But it depends on what they have doing in life. Six friends were blessed with magic of their own, and they go to the School of Magic to learn how to control their powers/magic. They learn about the Pillars, who were the first ever people to gain powers or magic, and they were told to find out more information about them. But they realise that they have vanished a thousand years ago, making their research harder as there wasn't much information about them after their disappearance. It was then one of them decided to bring them back after learning what happened to them. Will they bring them back? Or will the darkness win the battle? Notes: Now obviously, this story isn't real, and some of them might be unrecognisable with each other, and well thats because they have not met yet.
